قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ۝ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ

Surah Al-An’am (6:162-163)

Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. He has no partner..."

عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: "إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى".

– متفق عليه (رواه البخاري ومسلم)

Narrated ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:

“Actions are only by intentions, and everyone will get what they intended.”
